Aditors are more keen on the POs approval process rather than sugnatures on PO. Many of the electronic print document can have a common sentence that this is electronically printed PO does not requires signature. More and over You may have terms and conditions in PO for legal matter as purhcasing contract. It's a matter for Auditors understanding.

The fact that the signature is included does NOT verify that the MD - any MD - has even seen the PO in question, much less approved it. The auditors should therefore simply ignore the signature. There is another true, if misleading, answer as well. Regardless of when the PO was created, or how, or why, the current MD is responsible for the actions of the Purchasing department now - at the time of the new printing. The old MD is gone, and won't be answering any questions. Dave | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
