RE:[sap-log-mm] Run Query as a Scheduled Batch Job?

Reply from koby on Feb 26 at 9:16 AM
You can go to sq01 put your query name and go to query---more function ---display report name .(this is the name of the program in se38)
Now you can schedule the program in sm36.
You can schedule and send the report to mail also by click on spool list recipients ---external addresses.

Subject: Run Query as a Scheduled Batch Job?

We would like to run a query as a batch job to be run on a weekly basis. The information received from this query would be either sent or saved as a report on a local server. If more simple, if a spool list was created, that would be okay as well. The user could then just find the spool and print or save as a file from the spool list.
Can this be done? A procedure or process to do this would be much appreciated.
Thank You

[sap-log-mm] Purchase Order Approval Screen in JDE

Question from Prabhakar on Feb 25 at 8:06 AM
In PO approval Screen ( multiple approval levels) when a PO is approved, Order date (TRDJ/4209) is replaced by (DRQJ/4209). For next approver order date seen on the screen shows Request Date.

It seems it is standard functionality. What can be the reason behind it? To avoid this replacement of date, is there any way ?

As Far as I Know ;).

BTW, SAP had a printed magazine but it gets discontinued some months ago.

On one of those there were a nice article about EHS. The bad is that I no longer had that issue... nor I don't remember magazine's name... ah the memory...

In SQ01, choose the icon for Execute in Background. This will create a batch job for the query which can be scheduled as any other batch job. SM37 can be used to edit the settings or schedule after it has been created.
