Question 5 of OSS Note 1110140 indicated clearly that you can't use 107/109 for serialized materials.

Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to receive serialized materials with movement tpe:107. We place purchase order to vendor in Germany. Using idocs, we send purchase to Germany (Vendor) where sales order is created in Germany system. Germany sends us (US) DESADV (ASN) idoc. From idoc, I would like to receive into US system with movement type:107 valuated blocked stock. When Germany sends physical goods, I would like to receive again with movement type:109 (valuated blocked stock to unrestricted stock). These are serialized materials.
I was told that I can not receive serialized materials with move type:107. Does anyone has experience with this process? Appreciate any input with this.
