Hi Belle

Until you convert the P Req into PO and allocate a Vendor the system will not put in the Buy price.

Once you fill the Vendor and if there a Vendor info record for the material it will bring the buy price straight away

We order non stock non valuated materials manually through the purchase requisition on release strategy. There is a part number and a purchasing information record with a condition.

For these types of materials I can not get the value price to automatically populate in the Purchase Requisition.


Can anyone give me guidance.

Hi Abdul


1. Every time you change a MRP type a new Planning file is created

2. You need to clean all outstanding P Reqs in the system - Manually

3. Please go through all Fields in MRP1 , MRP2 , MRP3 and MRP 4 view and check if there is no parameter which is contradicting with "ND" setting

In material display screen of MRP Views Tab if the material is maintained MRP Type as 'ND' (No Planning) then why system is allowing to fill the Reorder point Qty & fixed lot size Qty.

Hence please some one guide me how can I make a condition saying that 'system should not allow to happen this type of activities while creating/updating the Master data. When the user choose MRP Type as 'ND' system should not allow to fill the Reorder point Qty & fixed lot size Qty'.

Note : I would like to know it is not possible to make a check when ever user select MRP Type as 'ND' system should not allow him to enter Reorder point Qty & Fixed lot size Qty ... Hence Please guide me how to make a check for the above process.
