RE:[sap-log-mm] Posting SES to Previous Period Only

Reply from A_PM on Dec 31 at 12:21 PM
Hello Ha,

Yes it is.
In February SAP will be not used at all as the company finishes its activity.
All GRs, GI, SES are to be entered with December date without any postings with January date.
I also thought about blocking necessary transaction form 01 Jan, but this will be the month of closing all POs. So they have to work, but with December date only.

All the best for you in New Year!
Cheers,
Anna

Subject: Posting SES to Previous Period Only

Hello,

I need to block postings of service entry sheets in current period.
The requirement is that no entries can be posted in January, in December (previous period only).
Dear friends, any idea how to achieve it? I will be very, very grateful for help.

Best regards,
Anna

Hi Tomas,

Do you remember which parameter has controlled these users' authorizations?
I also tried to go this way, I put in users' parameters in SU01 parameter KS8 - To Posting Date and gave date 2011.12.31, but it did not work. I tried both in this and YYYYMMDD format but without any result.
Thanks very much - and I'd like to wish you all the best in New Year!

Anna

Subject: Posting SES to Previous Period Only

Hi,
I remember that in old SAP 4.6C we used something similar during month end closing (MEC). During last day of the period we run bath creating/updating user parameter for all users (3 different values). Once ran normal users like goods recipients, plant maintenance order creators were not able to post anything into current period only to next one (value 1). 2nd level users (accounting team had possibility to post invoices into current period), 3rd level (MEC team) was able to modify anything in current period until it was closed. Once MEC was done all user parameters were restored at the beginning of 1st day of next period to 3rd level - unlimited posting to current period (the new one) limited only by their authorizations.
The check itself was done through user exits in transactions for posting checking user parameter value > allow or error message.
So if you modify this approach it should work for you.
Hope it helps.

I cannot modify the value in PR because it it is not modifiable, but some of other fields are allowed.
Anyone can help me please.

Hi,

I guess the standard message 06 076 was set as error status in your system and therefore, you can't make additional conversion of your current PR into a new PO and as this is the standard system behavior, the only workaround solution is to update your current PR from 300,000 down to 100,000 (to suit your outstanding PO/SE value) and add a new PR line item for the remaining value 200,000 which will then be converted into a new PO.

Cheers,
HT

I have specific materials and I would like to block the ability to perform a physical inventory count on these materials. Is there a setting in the material master or elsewhere that can be set to disallow a material from either being entered into an inventory count?

RE:[sap-log-mm] Runtime Dump 'MOVE_TO_LIT_NOTALLOWED_NODATA' in MIGO

Reply from susanhuang on Dec 30 at 4:26 AM
Dear HT

Thank you for your reply.

If this part goods receive from purchasing order. It's OK. but if I use MIGO , MB1A or addon-program post goods issue and reverse from production order, It's always get system mail "Update was terminated ". The other parts would not get error message. I had upgrade to ECC6.0 for three years. I had made enhancement before upgrade. There is one goods issue from production order on OCT. 25,2011 in MB51.

Susan

Dear Expert

When I post a goods Issue, system show Material document. But, I use MB03 display material document, system shows "Material document not found.". I found a Runtime Error "MOVE_TO_LIT_NOTALLOWED_NODATA" in ST22. It comes in the following statement:-

Error analysis
A new value is to be assigned to the field "<F>", although this field is
entirely or partly protected against changes.

The following are protected against changes:
- Character literals or numeric literals
- Constants (CONSTANTS)
- Parameters of the category IMPORTING REFERENCE for functions and
methods
- Untyped field symbols not yet assigned a field using ASSIGN
- TABLES parameters if the actual parameter is protected against changes
- USING reference parameters and CHANGING parameters for FORMs, if the
actual parameter is protected against changes and
- Accesses using field symbols if the field assigned using ASSIGN is
protected (or partially protected, e.g. key components of an internal
table with the type SORTED or HASHED TABLE) against changes
- Accesses using references, if the field bound to the reference is
protected (or partially protected) against changes
- External write accesses to READ-ONLY attributes,
- Content of a shared object area instance accessed using a shared lock
(ATTACH_FOR_READ).
.............

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:

"MOVE_TO_LIT_NOTALLOWED_NODATA" " "
"SAPLMBMS" or "LMBMSF00"
"VERBRAUCH_FORTSCHREIBEN_30"
.........

My System environment is SAP-Release 700
I have check SAP OSS notes, but could not get any one.

Please kindly give me a hand.

Thanks,
Susan

Hi RSS,

Did you try MM60? Broadly it gives most of the data which u are looking for. Or you can use SE 16 (TABLE VIEW) and use table MARA,MARC and MARD to see Material master data at Global, plant and Sloc. levels.

Regards,
Dinesh
