Posted by stonehenge
on Aug 14 at 1:21 AM
We use Engineering Change Management to track our Bill of Materials . Our subcon Purch Reqs are created through weekly MRP runs.We do not use Production Versions at present. When I look at the PR BOM I am able to see all the materials with their quantities but not the ECM Number.

Request to kindly help out. We are on ECC6.0 Ehp4.

Hi, you're not clear but you can also restrict the user by removing Tcode ME51E from their roles so that PR s are not manually created but created by running MRP.

Subject: Purchase requisition release 4.6c

Hello All,

I have an issue with the release procedure not working in production, although it works in quality.
The release strategy is very simple, based on Value - £1000K and + £1000K
Ref to table field is CEBAN / GFWRT
Not ready for input = ticked
Values = 0.00 - 1000.00 GBP & > 1000.00 GBP. There is a tick box "Additional values" which is selected.
Description is "Total value of requisition"
I have checked the NB PReq doc type is ticked for release

I tested in quality and the process worked fine, transported to PRO then set up my characteristics & class, now it does not work, the release tab does not appear in the PReq.

I did notice when I was creating characteristics the tab called "Restrictions" has a value defaulting - 032 Release strategy, this is not present in quality.

I have checked and rechecked config Q vs PROD and see no variation.

Any pointers would be appreciated?

Thanks
Ann

I am trying to report on stock availability the transaction I need is reservations that have not been completed due to no stock. The report needs to include plant , reservations complete and reservations incomplete, as well as the items critical ie (a, b, c) so I can gain a percentage of availability each week. Is this a report in SAP or is it something we need to set up?

Dear,

Restriction should always be filled with 032.
Then in production go to cl20n and give your class strategy and assign the
values to your characters.

Radhakrishna

"Restrictions" has a value defaulting - 032 Release strategy. This should
not be the case. Restrictions field must be blank.

Hi Vinod

You can find it in KONV table JEXS condition type or check function module:
CALCULATE_TAX_FOR_NET _AMOUNT.

May be description of this function module is wrong but try to find in SE37
and enter"CALCULATE_TAX" and press F4 you will get .select the function
module which is having "ITEM" in its description.

This will serve you better.

Bye Radhakrishna.

Dear,

Your error clearly indicate that material is not extended to Storage
Location which is there in sales order.

You need to extend the material and your error will get resolved.

Hi all,

When creating the physical inventory documents for one of the plant we have,
we are using tcode MI31 because that allows you to created by material type
and have some other nice features.

One of the option in this tcode is to create phys. inv. doc for materials
with zero or with out zero stock. Is that a good idea to create docs for all
including materials with zero stock?

Thanks,
