If you are not doing a direct cut over. I would pay close attention to your inventory's balances and values. I have seen LSMW work well in transferring masterdata from one plant to another.

Has anyone moved a facility while using SAP? Anybody aware of best practices, gotchas? Obviously considering master data, plant code(s), routings, boms. We have started the planning for transition to a new site over the next 3 years.
