Thank you arun_versa for your feedback. I am sorry, I didn't understand the: commitment item linked to valuation class. Does this mean "one material code" or could it be on the material's group level (if it couldn't be created on the material level). You know, my issue is that I need to maintain a budget for each material and I feel it is not practical to create internal order for each material and to have the users put it in the PR and PO. It looks like a lot of overhead. Also, all of the materials are stockable and GR should be made in our warehouse.

Dear All,

We have a scenario which I am not sure if it is doable... kindly advise if anyone has done such thing.
We need to enter the expected purchasing value for each material at the beginning of the year, for the whole year.

When any department creates a purchase requisition(for stockable material, without account assignment or for an asset)..we need to check if the expected value for this material has been exceeded, and if so a release strategy should be triggered.

Please advise if this can be done in the standard way (internal order or fund management)
