Hi,

You can use transaction IQ04 to upload all the vendor serial number in your
EXCEL file. While creating Goods Receipt(MIGO) go to serial number tab and
execute the display serial number then select the serial number whatever you
have uploaded then execute. The serial number is automatically copied and
display from goods receipt serial number tab.

Subject: Serial Number capturing in MIGO

Hello colleagues,

I'm aware this is an old trend but quite actual since I'm facing the same issue nowadays.

The workaround I found regarding this is to upload the serial numbers into the system using transaction iq04, where you create serial numbers for a specific material.

After the serial numbers are created, you can look for them in migo using the binoculars button in Serial numbers tab, which will take you internally to iq09, display all the serial numbers previously created in iq04, select them and these numbers will appear in migo.

I know you can only copy/paste around 13-15 serial numbers into iq04, but it is quite simple to create a lsmw with recording to mass upload thousands of serial numbers into the system from a txt file.

Hope this helps
