Example: I have a material 118924-01 that is set for 2 SLocs (0001 and 0002) within the same plant (0202). The material is set up in the material master as material type ROH and in MRP2 the relevant values are (for both SLocs):
MRP type = PD (plant level)
MRP4 view relevant values are:
SLoc MRP Ind = 2
SpecProcKey = 40
ROP = 1
RepQty = 1

When inventory for both storage locations fall below ROP, MRP proposes a replenishment of 1 for each storage location.

The replenishment proposal is deleted (including the PR) from SLoc 0001. Upon the next run of MRP, the system proposes a replenishment for SLoc 0001 (as expected, since the inventory level is below ROP for this SLoc)... but the system also creates an additional proposal (on top of the existing one) for SLoc 0002. So the list requirements view looks as so (where .

Material 118924-01 plant 0202
SLoc 0001 - unrestricted stock = 0
PO450000001/0010 qty = 1
SLoc 0002 - unrestricted stock = 0
PO450000002/0010 qty = 1
PO450000003/0010 qty = 1 (extra replenishment created by the subsequent MRP run)

Can you rephrase your inquiry?. Does it mean that MRP generated two identical stock transfer reservations with the same required quantity and requirement date? Perhaps, a detailed example shall be provided for our better understanding of your system behavior?. Did you check if there is any stock movement, reservation and/or MRP-relevant parameter change happening in between two MRP run for the material?
