SHDO will allow you to set up a screen variant. What are you trying to
achieve? Do you want to change existing materials masters purchase group or
would you like to default a particular purchase group when a material master
is set up?

For the former use MM17 or Mass, lsmw will work as well. For the latter, I
think there is parameter ID you can use to default this value.
