We use Object Type in the Equipment master to identify types of equipment.

Subject: Material Handling in SAP

On our site, we have a number of heavy pieces of equipment that we are not sure how to manage with SAP. We need the ability to request a certain class of equipment to a job in one area of our plant. For example, carpenters may need a heavy duty forklift to held raise a platform at one job site. Can this be done within SAP?
