Try using one of the inventory management reports in the MC4n transaction code range -
MC44 INVCO: Analysis of Inventory Turnover
MC46 INVCO: Analysis of Slow-Moving Items
Use of these reports may mean that you don't have to flag materials, depending on your business scenario, as HT says

I am looking to flag a material in our inventory so if it sets for some time it will flag the users. So question is there some where we can set this when the material is received into inventory?
