You don't say if the issues are permanent (i.e. uniform is not returned) or temporary and you don't say if the uniform items are stock managed or not. This would affect how you might manage this, If you don't have SAP HR (as we don't) and the uniform items are stock managed, and they get returned, then I would do the following. This is quite a detailed solution but it provides lots of info about uniform management and costs. Set up each uniform item as a material (which means you can purchase, plan, cost and stock control the items) and set up each employee as a customer. Then create consignment fill up sales orders for the items per employee. In that way you can manage your stock (quantity and location), return items to stock that are returned by employees (consignment pick up) and even bill employees for uniform not returned (consignment issue order and invoice)! Plus you have a full stock management overview by quantity and cost, all from standard reporting. This a high overhead solution so the info received would have to warrant the effort put in to maintain the data. Hope this helps, ChrisO

We're bringing on board anew plant but they need this functionality. They issue uniforms (e.g. 2 pants, 3 shirts, 2 boots) to over 3000 people, anyway SAP can keep track of whats been issued and to who?
