They need to think about the reporting also. This would be a huge amount of Sloc data to report on or run automated reorder point planning.

My customer wants to have 1000 storage locations in a plant. I do not think it is a good idea to have so many. Customer does not want to implement warehouse management. What is the typical number of storage locations in a plant ? What SAP recommends?
