Hello Sieg, None of the serial procedures in your reply (and thanx for it!) are for PM; that is, maintenance module. When a piece of equipt. is to be refurbished (IW81) I want to use the manufacturer's serial number on the equipment and enter it into a Material I create w/ that serial number. Is this possible? I need the pecking order for creating a Material and entering a manufacturer's serial number from the Equipment master record into the intangible Material record w/ same serial number and then entering the Material number and serial number into the "serdata' tab of the equipment record. What are the sequential steps? I can't find a methodology in aftermarket book or googling on line. Thanks in advance for help. kpd |
