[sap-log-mm] MB58 display consignment inventory not visible even before PGI ?

At what time in the process the inventory display gets deducted from what will be invoiced through ZKE order type to the customer?

I had the feeling that only after PGI you would have that deduction made. Now I am told that as soon as auto batch allocation and picking complete being made against the delivery, then inventory is already gone from the MB58 display?

Can anyone confirm ?
