SAP TechEd 2011: Convince Your Boss to Send You
SAP TechEd 2011: Convince Your Boss to Send You

Given the abundance of communications tools, social media, and online learning options available, do we still need in-person events? When it comes to SAP TechEd, the answer is yes! To help you make your case, I detailed the reasons for attending in my recent SAP Insider article
"So You Want to Attend SAP TechEd 2011? " Here's a recap that outlines the three key reasons you should attend.

Meet and Pick the Brains of Top Experts
SAP TechEd is the best technical training and networking event for IT professionals who develop, implement, optimize, and upgrade SAP solutions.
Address Hot-Button Trends at the Source
SAP is committed to helping SAP TechEd attendees cut to the core of the topics that interest them. That's why this year's event theme is "Innovate the Future." Attendees can instantly obtain value from the knowledge, skills, and relationships they gain at SAP TechEd.
Leave the Event with Actionable Knowledge
Education enables professionals to work smarter even when budgets and resources are shrinking. Attending SAP TechEd is an effective way to get the professional development you need.

Each year, thanks to the in-depth sessions, quality content, and networking opportunities SAP TechEd produces excited and satisfied attendees. In his recent blog, SAP Mentor, Matt Harding talks about why he's excited about the upcoming SAPTechEd Las Vegas.

And, don't forget to take advantage of early-bird discounts for Las Vegas, Bangalore, and Madrid. Also, be sure to view the sessions in Las Vegas, Bangalore, and Madrid early to plan for the best possible conference experience. Follow us on Twitter @sapteched.

Sincerely,

Chip Rodgers,
Vice President and COO of SAP Community Network

  1. Pack Your Bags: First Stop Is Las Vegas

There's a lot that excites us about our first 2011 event in Las Vegas. For starters, we just announced that Jane McGonigal, director of Game Research and Development, Institute for the Future and author of The New York Times best seller, Reality Is Broken, will be the guest keynote speaker on Monday night. Jane will kick-off the discussion on gamification as a start to the entire week that will be gamified. And, don't miss the hit band OneRepublic rocking the house on Thursday night, Sept 15.

  2. Hot Topics

Learn more about this year's hot topics. With our comprehensive educational program, you can quickly ramp up your expertise on a wide range of topics related to SAP NetWeaver technology platform and SAP BusinessObjects solutions. The content is organized with hot topics featured across tracks like: on demand, in-memory computing, mobility, sustainability, and orchestration.
