Hi Nguyen,

Can you rephrase your inquiry?. Does it mean that MRP generated two identical stock transfer reservations with the same required quantity and requirement date? Perhaps, a detailed example shall be provided for our better understanding of your system behavior?. Did you check if there is any stock movement, reservation and/or MRP-relevant parameter change happening in between two MRP run for the material?

Cheers,
HT

Subject: Duplicate replenishement proposals during MRP run

I have a batch job set up to perform an MRP run 7 days a week. The parameters of RMMRP000 are as follows:
Processing key NETCH
Create purchase req. 1
Schedule lines 1
Create MRP list 1
Planning mode 3
Scheduling 1

We plan all our materials at the SLOC level with MRP type set as PD (w/o planning horizon). In MRP4 we have set up the following:
SLoc MRP Ind = 2
SpecProcKey = 40
ROP = 1
RepQty = 1

Interesting enough during the weekend MRP runs the system tends to duplicate replenishment proposals even though there's an existing proposal which meets the minimum criteria of the MRP4 view. I think it has something to do with the planning file entries not being reset during the weekend changes but not sure where to look to validate. Can anyone help me?

Thanks.
Nguyen
