RE:[sap-log-mm] Copying rules for header text - purchase order

Hi Girish P.

Probably you can be right, but in our customization (check by yourself - Copying rules for header text for PO) we have defined only 3 sources. And Material Master Delivery terms is not one of them.
Regardless of from where this text is coming, unfortunately that does not explain why I find in "Header Changes" that I actually entered "Terms of delivery" at the very moment I made that that change on item level.
But thanks for reply.

Subject: Copying rules for header text - purchase order

Hi folks,

Problem description:

1. 'Terms of delivery' in Contract is source text for PO text and marked with fix indicator ' * ' (in customization)
-> so text is automatically copied to 'Terms of delivery' in purchase order from contract but i will not adopted it ! (so far so good!)

2. now I make small change e.g. change of PO quantity, order acknowledgement, .... on item level.
-> surprisingly I find in "Header Changes" that I actually entered "Terms of delivery" at the very moment I made that small change mentioned above.

3. Why is changed/entered Terms of delivery as change ... again and again and again ...?
Problem is that automatically is created also change message and because we let the system processed messages in background, then vendor get surprise FAX message

Thanks in advance for help.

p.s. I skimmed this forum but I did not find similar problem, hope I am not wrong
p.s.2 we use SAP ECC 6.0
