RE:[sap-log-mm] MRP to create Stock Transport Orders

Hi Bob,

If this is the case, I would suggest you to go back to your configuration of your special procurement key ''40" and check if the issuing plant was assigned together with the special procurement "U" and procurement type "F".

Cheers,
HT

Subject: MRP to create Stock Transport Orders

Hi,

I have set the Special Procurement Key to 40 but when I run MRP it does not create a stock transport requisition. How do I configure MRP to create Stock Tansport Requisitions as I am planning in one plant but always get the material from another plant which is the central warehouse and want to create the PO as a Stock Transport Order UB.
Thanks

Hello Satish,

Can you provide a little more details about what exactly you mean.
In SAP you can assign number range like for Info records, material type
PR, PO and so on.

Ex: SPRO->MaterialsManagement->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define
Document Types

Regards,
SA

Hi Ha Tran,

I did not create the MRP Group in my configuration and assign it to the material. My MRP was run using MD03 and then I execute MD04 to look at the requisition generated and when I display the requisition the item category is not U and when I convert the req to a PO it is not a UB Stock transport order which is what I want as I am getting the material from another plant in the same company code. I did not activate any use exit in support for your MRP run.
Is it true that your PR was generated upon MRP run with ''blank'' item category? YES.

Cheers,

Best Regards

Hi Bob,

Did you activate the MRP Group in your configuration and assign it to your material?. How was your MRP run? was it done via MD01/MD03 transaction?. Did you activate any use exit in support for your MRP run? Is it true that your PR was generated upon MRP run with ''blank'' item category?

Cheers,
HT

MRP runs fine and creates a requisition for the minimum stock level. But I want to create a PO to demand from a Plant and not from a vendor. So I want to create a PO for a stock transport order type UB. How do I do this because at the moment the PO is generated and asks me for a vendor number and I want it to procure from a plant. I did set the special procurement key in the material master to 40. It is happening for all materials. MRP was run for a single material.

Hi,

Can you rephrase your inquiry? When you said "MRP run does not create a stock transport requisition", did it mean only purchase requisition was generated upon MRP run? or did it mean no procurement proposal at all? Did you assign your customized special procurement key to your material at the demand plant? Was it only happening for one particular material? or for all materials to which the same special procurement key was assigned? How was your MRP run?

Cheers,
HT

Hi,

You can change the posting periods as per the month and the T-code is MMPV
once you have changed the posting period
again enter in to OB52-->select-->company code 1000-->change the End period
to 2011 for all.

GR can be done for the current period.
