Reply from Dave Thornburgh on Mar 15 at 7:52 PM Mike - It looks like you haven't gotten a response on this - but it was covered recently in the forum, so I'm not sure why you couldn't find it when you searched. Your returns go into Returns (R) because you're using movement 651 on the return. Stock category R will never be valuated, and you can't change that fact - it's hard-wired into SAP. We didn't like that either, so we changed our returns to use movement type 653, which puts them into unrestricted stock. If that causes you a problem with stock availability, then you could also receive them into a storage location which is not MRP relevant. Dave

We get "returns" from our customers and when we receive it via VL01N it goes into stock category "R". Which is great, but our controller wants it valuated at that point. Is there any way to change it so that it is valuated while it's in SC "R"? Thanks in advance for any help Mike | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
