Hi,
How exactly do you change cost center field? You mentioned that problem is with Service item. For Service item account assignment definiton you have to go to Service (planned) or Limit tab (unplanned with limit) in item details. Account assignment tab is only read only. For Standard item you can go directly to tab Account assignment for definition.

Can you please explain me, when I am trying to approve PR, the cost center field is not changed. It's happening only with particular purchase group only with service PR.
