I think this error will occur because of parameter setting of FI which is stored in table T001B.
(Posting Period Variant).

Please check the following parameter setting.
SPRO -> Financial accounting -> Financial accounting global setting -> Document -> Open and
close posting periods.

Then you should adjust the period for the variant your accounting code is assigned.
You can check the variant which are used for your company code.

SPRO -> Financial accounting -> Financial accounting global setting -> Document -> Assing variants
to company code.

This setting is FI setting, so you might consult with your FI colleagues.
