Hi,
MAP is price divided/ qty so what ever hits the stock give effect the map.
It can go to different account but MAP is irrespective of account.
and as vender returns is reducing the stock it will also effect MAP.
And as MAP is present price irrespective of purchase price. I mean multiple
purchase with different price as effect MAP same ways reduction of stock
effect MAP.

I hope this gives clear Idea about MAP.

Whether effect of vendor return should hit material MAP or it can be transfer to any other account like consumption/ price change?
We have some material with MAP 100, but due to vendor return of that material @ Rs 80 (original procurement price from him ). Our MAP raise to Rs 1500. differential amount of Rs( 20 * return qty ) load on remaining stock. This will creating problem in product costing & stock valuation.
