RE:[sap-log-mm] Issue with Outline Agreement - Value Contract in SAP MM

Hi,

When you are using the value contract, then make sure you won't maintain any target quantity in the contract line item. Otherwise, the standard warning message 06078 was popped up. Remember that for value contract, it is not the quantity that shall be maintained in the contract except for the target value. Otherwise, the quantity contract shall be used instead.

Cheers,
HT

Subject: Issue with Outline Agreement - Value Contract in SAP MM

Dear All,

I have created a value contract at company code level with target value as 10,000 INR. When I compute the overall cost of the material that I have entered in different items, it exceeds more than the target value (>10,000 INR) defined. However system is still allowing me to create contract without any warning or error message. I even created a purchase order with reference to contract whose overall cost exceeds the target value defined in contract without any warning or error message.

I'm suspecting I went wrong somewhere. Can someone advise where exactly I went wrong? Can we have a contract whose overall cost exceeds the target value defined?

Thanks in advance for your great support.

Regards
Suresh
