Hi H T, I created a PO with single line item for a material whose value exceeds the target value defined in contract. Now I'm getting a warning message (Message no. 06078) stating that Target quantity exceeded by XX EA.. Though I created value contract, not sure why warning message says about the target qty instead of target value and still allowing to create PO successfully without any error. Can you please advise what may the issue and where did I went wrong? Regards Suri..

However, the check won't happen if the PO is created with multiple line items for which the total values is in excess of the target value. For instance, the target value of your contract was set as 10,000 AUD and the first release order was created for the total value of 8,000 AUD. If a new release order is created with multiple line item of which each has the value of less than 2,000 AUD (= 10,000 - 8,000) but the total value of all line items is over 2,000 AUD, then the message won't appear.
