Hi, Ian - You should be able to find SAP's warning message in configuration and turn it into a hard error. I believe it's literally changing a "W" to an "E". However, then you'll be stopping them completely from finishing their job, especially if there are external calls involved. You will have to weigh that having the wrong information does versus holding up the business.

Subject: How to Hard-Code Message Issued in LI11N?

One of my clients is asking me to create a hard coded message if their staff is using incorrect batch number in Li11n, at the moment they just get a override able message even the batch number is incorrect. The client would like a hard error message, if there inputting a wrong batch number.

The background to this issue is that their staff rings the QA or someone within their organization who gave them these batch numbers and then they write these batches and process them. The interesting point is the person on the other end of the phone gave them by mistake a wrong batch number or they are writing it incorrectly or when they are putting these batches they by mistake miss type these batches.

The only issue I have how to create a hard coded message rather then normal override able message.
