Hi Kaushai,

Unfortunately, your understanding is incorrect as the project stock concept is different than what you have described (i.e. using the storage location as subcontractor).

Since SAP does not allow you to move any special stock (project stock, for instance) to subcontractor stock with standard movement type 541, you have to firstly move your special stock into unrestricted use stock and then move it to subcontractor stock with movement type 541.

Hello,

I am working on sub-contracting process through PS. I am trying
to issue goods (free issue) to sub-contractor by movement 541 to
make and provide us a final product (header item). I have
selected item category L(sub-cotracting)for header item(final
product) to create a PR & PO. I have selected A/c assignment
category Q for issuing goods.

But still I am not able to issue goods to sub-contractor.

Pl. tell me solution whether is it possible to goods issue to
sub-contractor with movement type 541 & A/c category Q.
