MSZH -

Before, your smartform said to always print signature MD1. Now, your smartform says to always print signature MD2. It's doing exactly what you told it to do. If you want it to do something different, then you'll need to change the smartform to be 'smart', and choose the signature to print based on the data being printed.

Anyhow, a PO is one of those documents that really shouldn't be printed over and over again. Master data changes, company addresses change, and so on. If you want true reproductions of the original output, you should be archiving that output and then retrieving the images from the archive instead of generating them new when you need a copy. The document represents a contract between you and the vendor, and so you really don't have the right to change the contract just because you change the output routines.

Subject: Signatures on Smartform

Hi Dave,

Changes were done to have PO's to print with MD2. The qusetion is PO's created during MD1 for an example, PO's created in 2010 with the signature of MD1 on them and changes were done on a Smartform to enable the signature of MD2 on them in 2011. So when one prints PO's created in 2010 (MD1) they show the signature of MD2 instead of MD1, why is that?

Tks,

MSZH
