MSZH - The true and correct answer for the Auditor - even though it's not likely you want to use it - is that the presence of a signature on the printout is completely meaningless. The fact that the signature is included does NOT verify that the MD - any MD - has even seen the PO in question, much less approved it. The auditors should therefore simply ignore the signature. There is another true, if misleading, answer as well. Regardless of when the PO was created, or how, or why, the current MD is responsible for the actions of the Purchasing department now - at the time of the new printing. The old MD is gone, and won't be answering any questions. Dave
