Archiving of material masters is done via transaction SARA using archiving object MM_MATNR, but this is the last step in a series of archiving runs using several other archiving objects, because you have to remove all data associated with those materials from your system before the material masters can be removed. In MM_MATNR you can chose either a list of materials, or all materials which have been flagged for deletion.
