Denpa,

Static safety stock is an additional static requirement to undue demand. Dynamic safety stock calculate the target stock for a target safety coverage period defined in customizing. We can make it work like safety stock to be adjusted to match the dynamic demand level, but not fall below the safety stock defined.

How does SAP logic work if both, dynamic (coverage profile) and static safety stock are maintained? Are these calculated together so that they'll add up? Or does is the static safety only taken into consideration when dynamic safety target falls below the static level?
