I assume the question is about the "GR-based IV" flag.

In addition to Deepak's reply: The flag can be set (1) on the vendor master, (2) on the purchasing info record, (3) on the purchase oder item. (2) will be defaulted from (1); (3) will be defaulted from (2) or, if no purchasing info record exists, from (1).

Of course, the flag will only be set for purchase order items that are relevant for both GR and IR.

You can use field selection, to make the field invisible for (1), (2), (3). As a result, the functionality of GR-based IV would not be usable on your client.
