Hi,
My thought was that this is purely the business rule instead of technical setting where final decision on how to treat rejected material due to quality failure shall be made. There have been several options to be considered in this particular case -
1) Return for credit;
2) Scrapping; or
3) Return for replacement etc...
Furthermore, the technical solution will also vary subject to how you wish to manage your return deliveries - with or without SD process.
