RE:[sap-log-mm] PO Output via EMail - automatic copy to specified file or to senders email

Hi Ediga

Thanks for your suggestion! We have not yet implemented version management, but we were considering it before. Is it relatively problem free? :-)

So, it sounds as if the versioning is working well for your organization with email of PO?

On a side note, is it correct for me to assume that the email transmission of PO versions will 'abide by' or conform to the configuration in SPRO where you can customize which fields trigger a change order output? These customizations, by document category, as you may know, reside in table T166c.

In other words, I'm just wondering if our T166c settings will still all be valid if/when we turn on versioning. I assume there's some coding for versioning that does a table check on T166c, so that 'de-activated' fields (not supposed to trigger a change output) will not get emailed just because they constitute a new version.

Hope it makes sense.

Kind Regards,
Suzanne

Subject: PO Output via EMail - automatic copy to specified file or to senders email

We are currently sending PO's and changes to PO's via Email. We want to be able to automatically "save" a copy of the actual output to a file (similar to when you send an email there is a copy saved in your sent file) or to actually send a copy to the person (Buyer) actually outputting the document (manual output done). Is this configurable or customization?
