Internal order will warn, then block purchase: it will not issue an approval process when reaching budget limit.
Of course, if you change the limit in the PO, it will trigger a new RS, as this is one of the default fields checked for change.

Dear All,

We have a scenario which I am not sure if it is doable... kindly advise if anyone has done such thing.
We need to enter the expected purchasing value for each material at the beginning of the year, for the whole year.

When any department creates a purchase requisition(for stockable material, without account assignment or for an asset)..we need to check if the expected value for this material has been exceeded, and if so a release strategy should be triggered.

Please advise if this can be done in the standard way (internal order or fund management)
