Change po ME22N or ME22. add the line and do a GR. Once you have done a GR on a line you have to back it out to make changes to it. If the IR is done you have to back that out as well. So , it would be easier for you to add the 1000 to the PO.

PO was created for 8000 metric tonnes @ 300 dollar per metric turn, and actual was good receipt is 9000 metric tonnes and good receipt was only to the extent of 8000 metric tonnes as we could not do good receipt in excess of the po quantity ,this happened some three months ago .Now we want to do receipt for the balance of 1000 metric tonnes.

Question:

1. Is it possible to adjust the po quantity from 8000 mt to 9000 mt.This is I think is not possible given the fact that we have already done good receipt based on 8000 mt.

2. Can we create additional line item on the same po for the balance of 1000 mt? If yes, how do we go about it? Is the tcode to do this same as for creating the po initially?

Please somebody help. We are about submitting month end management account and need this information as soon as possible.
