RE:[sap-log-mm] Decimal discrepancies in weights between R/3 and APO

Here is the solution to our problem in case anyone else comes across this:

The problem is caused that in APO a part
Product view is able to round value during conversion up to 3 decimal
places. When more decimal places is requested the system rounds it
without any decimal places. Current value in your system is "4".

You can adjust conversion settings to make visible requested
decimal places. Adjust "LB" unit of measure conversion in APO
customizing, transaction CUNI, set dimension "MASS", choose unit of
measure "LB" and here set parameter "Decimal pl. rounding" up to value
"3".
Save it.

You can do same for other unit of measure, meaningful value range is
0-3. After that re-check the affected Product view.

Subject: Decimal discrepancies in weights between R/3 and APO

We are on SCM 5.0. The T006 tables (units of measure) were inadvertently updated via "Transfer Global Settings" option in transaction RSA1. The entries have been corrected in APO thru CUNI transaction to add back the appropriate decimal places and decimal place rounding. However, when viewing product in /SAPAPO/RRP3, LB's continue to round to nearest .000 value. For example, batch weight shows in R/3 as 24.600 lb but RRP3 shows same batch as 25.000 LB. When viewing product in KG, these same batches show correct weights in R/3 and APO. What else needs to be updated in order to show the correct weights in uom LB? Thanks
