Below is the scenario for the results of running MC44 for each day of the month from 06/01/2011 to 06/30/2011 for 1 mat'l. For example the period of inventory turnover 06/01/2011 to 06/18/2011 gave the results TURNOVER: 15.82 AVERAGE STOCK: 4.236 From 06/01 to 06/12 my stock for this mat'l was 0 kgs. On 6/13 I had a goods receipt (GR) of 68.040 kgs. SAP calculated the Average Stock as 68.040/13days = 5.234. That I understand. However I have no idea how SAP calculated each day after that. On 6/14 and 6/17 I had goods issues (GI) of 66.000 & 1.000 respectively. My inv. on 06/01/2011 was 0 kgs and my closing inv on 06/30 was 1.040 kgs. I realize inventory turnover is not really relevant on such a short time frame but I wanted to understand how it's calculating.
