If no material movements then check for any invoices, could even be a very old one if process started with zero stock. A invoice with a much higher value will impact MAP if there is stock, but if no stock it does not impact MAP at all (no stock to add value to) but waits for next issue of the material and adds the extra invoice value to that issue. It can be easy to miss this if the invoice was from 6 months ago and the 261 was yesterday.

dear all,,, i have a very strange problem the price of a material (moving average) has a very big change with no reason..
i checked the material changes history in MM03, but i couldnt find that change
i checked all the POs, but couldnt find any with such price
i chcked all the movements in which it has this huge value (movements like 261, 262, 302) but couldnt find anything strange in these material documents..
does anyone know what caused this big change in the value??? please help.. it is sooo urgent
