Asir, you have a tricky problem!

I would suggest to change this directly in the table(s) using SE16N.
Main table is MARA but there is also MARM which contains this data.
Fields are called EAN11 and NUMTP.

Another approach is to change the number range back and forth.
E.g. suppose the number you wanted back is 123 and you are currently at 456.
a) edit the number range and change "last number" from 456 to 122
b) then add the EAN number to the article in question. It should be assigned 123.
c) edit the number range again and change "last number" from 123 to 456

I have done this before to fill up unused invoice numbers that can occur after a crash pr program dump.

Hope this helps,
Manu

Subject: Internal EAN number assignment

Hi
I am facing an issue where the use has accidentally deleted the EAN number from material master. Now I want to add the EAN number manually, but since it is an interanl EAN number range I could not add this number. is there any solution for this issue

Thank and reagards
Gladstone
