If it really offends you, archive the material and recreate it again if you control the external number assignment. this time, select the correct view or material type if that was the issue.

We are in the process of cleansing data as part of our MDM project. Once material master views are created for a particular item or items. Is there a transaction that can be used to eliminate unwanted or incorrectly created views. Example: For a manufactured item can I delete the purchasing view if it is not required |
