Hello Mr. Grant,

Usually, this requirement is met by creating a service item, but the difficult part is, as you said, deriving the price of service item as a percentage of another item.

However, it would be easier to include the price of warranty in the main item. I am sure, some expert might come up with a better solution. All the best.

We want to show the warranty and maintenance as a separate item and calculate the price in its own item, not in the main item as a surcharge condition type. for example, SAP company sells their software and the maintenance service. the maintenance service fee based on the software price, get 22% of the software. i am not sure how SAP to handle this business in their system. does sap cover it in CRM system or ECC? is it a separate item or not?
