I believe your issue is that SAP does not "correctly" link MARC with MBEW. The plant is WERKS in MARC and you want to link it to BWKEY or Valuation Area. Unfortunately, SAP knows better than you and will not let you do it. Because the link is only on the material, you will get a record for each MBEW / Valuation Area combination.
This may need to be done via Query (SQ01/SQ02)

I have written a query which uses tables mara, marc and mbew, makt

if i only use mara, makt and marc i have no problems. Once i add mbew, the problems begin. I get the warning message saying that t001w - waers is missing. so i include it as well , yet the problem persists. If i run the query for a particular data set, i expect 3 records to be displayed. But I get 15 records and It seems to me like the other 12 records are all duplicates.

any one experience a similar issue beofre and if so how did u resolve
