All, typically repairable items will have separate valuation, so in the
material master the indicator for separate valuation will need to be set,
and valuation types included for the separate values, New, Worn, and
Repaired are the three typical grouping with different valuation types.

In addition you can set up a Class and Characteristic to indicate whether
these should be repaired in-house or externally.

So between classification and valuation you can then determine all
in-house materials, Spare parts or Sales products, as being candidates for
repairable (Refurbishment Processing).

Subject: What is the best way to Identify MRO Repairables

Hi Peter and Jim,

My perception is that George is seeking the solution on how to identify the MRO repairable items instead of how to manage these items.

Cheers,
HT
