Alex,

Actually FRC represents requirements for medium and long term while JIT for short term. But the difference between them comes from configurations in OMUP.

Hello Guys,

Can somebody explain me the difference between scheduling agreement release types forecast (FRC) and Just-in-Time (JIT) .

I think I understand the purpose - FRC is to allow vendor to plan the quantities that are supposed to be delivered and JIT is a request for a quantity of a particular material for a particular date and probably time too.

I created both types of releases and could not see any difference between them. The output was exactly the same although each one uses a different output type. If for both types I get exactly the same document why we need two different types? It seems to me they behave exactly the same.
