Question from Jason Blair on Jan 3 at 2:21 PM I have what is probably a simple fix for many of you. Here is the problem. In my business we have standard loads that are on purchase orders that move every week. These loads are automatically created and in SAP for a month out. These loads are only intended to capture a certain percentage of our actual demand. Our problem is that our SAP under current settings is not recommending supplemental requirements to maintain our inventory parameters. Instead we are just getting the exception message to bring in the Purchase order earlier. Changing the standard loads are not an option. We need to have SAP generate purchase reqs to supplement the standard loads to meet our forecasted demand. Interesting side note. Even though our safety stock settings are ignored SAP will still generate a Purchase Req if inventory is projected to go below zero. It just does not recognize our safety stock settings. Any help or guidance is appreciated. All materials are set to TB and MRP type to M0. | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
