We'll have to produce in existing plant AND prepare to produce same in new plant on new machinery/work centers. It will be a huge transition for all materials. Could never slam- dunk it in over a weekend as part approvals take time ro get approved. I envision loading duplicate material masters, routings, boms, etc. into the new plant code.

Has anyone moved a facility while using SAP? Anybody aware of best practices, gotchas? Obviously considering master data, plant code(s), routings, boms. We have started the planning for transition to a new site over the next 3 years.
