Our business scenario requires to generate a sales order/ production order for each item we receive. we are a repair factory and our reparable items are received thru SO.
The problem is that we have another SO for shipping and due this, material requirements are duplicated.
In MM02 tab MRP4 there's a field called MRP dep. requirements (MARC-AHDIS) where one options is "Materials for dependent requirements are not planned". If I select this field will it works? Should I select this field for Finished products only or should I also change in raw material?.

How can i set for not considering dependend requirements in MRP and just take independent requirments? I have a lot of sales and production orders that are affecting my MRP result and purchasing quantities
